When Carrie's mom fell and sustained a brain injury, her mother's husband, Ray, had no way of keeping in touch with the family. At age 89, he didn't have a cell phone and didn't use a computer. Enter Nucleus, which brought this far-flung family together during a crisis, and has kept them connected ever since.
We first met Carrie when she reached out to our support team over the summer with some feedback, and when she invited us down to her home in Knoxville so we could tell her story, we jumped at the chance. After a day spent with her family (including multiple Nucleus calls with her mom and Ray in Massachusetts), we left feeling like we'd received the best Christmas gift ever.
